These terms apply to all orders placed on therepublicanoutfitters.com, operated by The Republican Outfitters, 14a Redwood Lawns, Kilnamanagh, Dublin 24, Ireland ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
1. Our products
All of our garments are embroidered to order in our Dublin workshop. Because embroidery is applied by machine onto each individual garment, small variations in stitch placement, thread shade and garment colour between items and between production batches are normal and are not a fault. We make every effort to show colours accurately, but colours on screen may differ slightly from the finished product.
Garments are supplied by third-party blank manufacturers. Sizing is based on the size guide provided on each product page; please check measurements before ordering.
2. Orders and contract
When you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms we have received your order; a contract is formed when we confirm your order and take payment. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if an item is unavailable, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we suspect fraud.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering through our secure payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
4. Production and delivery
As every item is embroidered to order, please allow production time before dispatch. Estimated production and delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy. These are estimates, not guarantees, but if we cannot deliver within 30 days of your order you may cancel and receive a full refund.
Orders for delivery outside Ireland may be subject to import duties, taxes or customs charges, which are the responsibility of the customer.
5. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Your rights to cancel and return items are set out in our Returns & Refund Policy.
6. Custom and personalised orders
Where we embroider a design, name, text or artwork that you supply or request, you confirm that you have the right to use that content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. We will show you a proof for approval where appropriate, and production begins only after you approve it. We may refuse any custom request at our discretion, including content we consider offensive, defamatory, or unlawful.
7. Intellectual property
All designs, logos, artwork, text and images on this website are owned by or licensed to The Republican Outfitters and may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without our written permission.
8. Care of your garments
To keep your embroidery looking its best, wash inside out at 30°C, do not bleach, do not tumble dry on high heat, and do not iron directly on the embroidery. Damage caused by not following care instructions is not covered as a fault.
9. Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with the GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of Ireland or of the EU country where you live. You may also contact the European Consumer Centre Ireland for help with a dispute.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order apply to that order.
